Providence Classic

One of my all time faves here in Providence, East Side Pockets on Thayer Street. A staple in many a Brown and RISD student diet, I'm sure. I needed something hearty today for lunch and couldn't resist. Be prepared to know how to order when it's your turn up at the counter, no stopping to think about it at that point since there's usually a line out the door. My usual is a "Gyro Pocket, no hots." Delicious falafel too, but I can never resist the tasty grilled lamb. Yummy Middle Eastern desserts too if you need a little sweet when you're done.

  1. I miss east side pockets! I can never seem to make falafel like they do.
